Thought you might find this interesting.

A journalist who specialises in Cluster B personality disorders (dramatic, emotional and erratic) has raised the question we've all been wondering: What exactly is wrong with Donald Trump?

Well, according to her, it's quite likely Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

In a follow up blog post, other professionals confirm her suspicion:

He’s so classic that I’m archiving video clips of him to use in workshops because there’s no better example of his characteristics,” said clinical psychologist George Simon, who conducts lectures and seminars on manipulative behavior. “Otherwise, I would have had to hire actors and write vignettes. He’s like a dream come true.

Just the type of person who we want in a seat of power.

I will shoot you along with every pop psych student ever.

given most of his speeches aren't written solely by him and all his answers are prereheasred, he's speaking for a specific purpose to a specific audience and is coached and trained for these appearances.

trying to spcyho analyse him from them is utterly retarded.

oh god the list of "experts is fantastic" basically its a list of quacks trying to sell books.

i like the one who believes psychotherapy is wrong because it doesn't take into account feminism.

Most people would probably be a bit narcissistic if they were billionaires and running for President, at least he has some substance to his ego

In today's age we seem to need to put labels on people. In reality we are all different and have different motivations and personalities. There is nothing special or unusual about it.

Yes Trump has a massive ego. Of course he does, he's in politics. People only go into politics because they are so convinced that their views are right that rather than just shouting them at other people (that's what pubs and BBS are for) they consider it entirely reasonable to force them on people. I'm sure there are some normal people in politics, but only at very low levels.

But generally (and unusually) I'm with Tefal: remote analysing people on the basis of public statements made with ulterior motive is stupid. A little learning is a dangerous thing, etc.

I wouldn't listen to a psychologists, full stop. If you found the most healthy and happy person in the world, they'd find a way to identify some sort of personality disorder. That is how they make their living.

diagnosis of some disorders can be pretty dubious to begin with let alone someone trying to diagnose from speeches and TV appearances as Tefal points out

sure Trump doesn't appear to be too sharp and he probably isn't but the above links are just pure quackery

I suspect he is just an arse who will say what he thinks will be popular amongst the masses even if he doesnt believe it himself..so hes the perfect politician!

Trump said on live TV he'd date his own daughter because she looks great and has a great body if she wasn't his daughter.

Doesn't that say all that needs to be known about him?

How do we know he isn't just trolling? Would be interesting to run for president and purposely be the biggest **** possible to see just how idiotic the American public really are when it comes to voting.
