Transferring my car to the wife, Do i complete like its a new buyer? or is there any easier process (seen as everything else is same, address etc, just MR to MRS)

Why? It adds an owner, devalues the car.. If she's still your wife and not about to be ex then keep it in your name.

I was thinking this, but I always thought I need to have an active insurance on the vehicle (which i wont), for her insurance to be valid if im still the owner?


or wont the POLICE ANPR see no owner insurance everytime, pull her over, she then has to explain shes not the owner but has insurance


or am i thinking completely wrong

If she was driving as a named driver that's the case. She can insure it and say she owns it but you're the registered keeper

Just to double check. She will be getting insurance for your car herself, right?

Even if she has insurance that allows her to drive other vehicles, you can't drive a vehicle that itself has no policy attached.
