Fallout 4 Crossfire profile is here

No I thought it was working!

I'm getting 60fps constant in areas Crimson actually has a profile for it but it still ain't working for some reason how hard can this be amd?

Come on mate. I have the same setup as you and I can't see any falliut 4 profile even when searching in the pre-defined crossfire menu. I also have the crossfire logo enabled and no logo appears and MSI afterburner only shows one card running.

The game has improved in single card mode hence why you see a performance gain. Try the crysis3 crossfire profile and you will see how crossfire should be working.

Damn fine card the 7970. Those should last another 3/4 years easy!!!

can't tell if serious :D

Sorry guys it seems that the Crimson game profile doesn't actually have a crossfire profile in but I can report another good boost on a single card,

I'm also using Virtual Resolution at 1440 which then downscales to 1080p it's cool!

Change the thread title. It only serves as a trolling/baiting opportunity for the Nvidia crew.

** Removed, not this again **

I'm screen shotting that before you edit it!

There will always be this debate around brands, if AMD can bring a decent CPU to the table soon it will be like the 2500k -/- 8320 arguements of old.

It's what makes us the master race such a fun bunch of people. :D

lol, I will give that one to you :p ;)

IMO, AMD lost the CPU market years ago, they should just give up on the desktop cpu market up and put all their money into other areas. Zen will either be the final nail in the coffin or their resurrection lol

And unfortunately my first comment/post is true regardless of fanboys, doesn't matter what AMD do, certain people will still go on about the drivers sucking :) As I said before, it is so much like the long debate of iOS VS android

i.e. battlefront not having crossfire support, AMD get slammed but nvidia not having proper SLI support for batman, ACS & fallout 4, it goes unnoticed.

I was actually hoping that Crossfire was sorted before SLI and that would have been some serious Kudos to AMD. I am sure it isn't far away though and it isn't overly demanding, so for the most here, not a massive need.

Tbph I don't know why on earth they can't add it considering a ton of games using that engine before have had support for multi-gpus....

Besides, being a nvidia sponsored game, surely should nvidia not do their best to at least get SLI working? I thought they were working with the developers to fix/improve the game?

That 12 developer console to pc port team must have really ****ed the game up good....

What about fallout 4 and ACS?

Tom clearly just made a mistake, he wasn't trolling. Obviously a shame it isn't working yet, but good to see some early performance increases :)

They are rapid really and a good value for money setup but I'm gutted my crossfire doesn't work STILL in Fallout 4

Like I said before..try the crysis 3 profile for the time being until AMD finally release a proper profile. It actually gives around 60% scaling which is good enough.

runs better with a single card rather than doing that for me. Drops down to 22fps in the financial district really not good.

What's the point in SLI for Fallout 4?

If you go over 60FPS the game breaks and physics is broken. I have to cap it to 60 at home on my 980s (only one used).

At work on my 960 @ 1080p, I rarely drop below 60fps.

Perhaps if you are running dual GTX580s you want SLI....

Official Crimson out now!

Fallout 4 Profile is finally here, its absoloutely flying on my Crossfire 7970's!!!

So you basically assumed this lol? Never ever assume stuff on this forum. You will get picked apart and left in the gutter so to speak. Especially where brand loyalty is concerned.

The one thing I am learning for recommendations and that is to buy the fastest single card you can afford. SLI/CF is getting worse by all accounts.

TWIMTBP should have SLi otb.

DSR?

1440p?

4K?

Surround?

Like they paid double just for sheer craik?

Same goes for CrossFire!

Mgpu sucks big time when there is no profile.:(

I have 1440p, and DSR doesn't work with SLI and GSync anyway.

As I get 100fps on what I assume is 1 card right now, I am confident someone playing at 4k with a 980ti would have no issues.

Or someone doing surround on a 980ti.

I'm just saying as games go, this is not the highest priority for MGPU - I say that as someone with two 980s.

Really? Oblivion didn't support Crossfire/SLI (though it was released before those technologies really became mainstream). Fallout 3 doesn't support it. Fallout New Vegas doesn't support it. Skyrim doesn't support it. The Elder Scrolls Online supports it but it's a bit meh. Dishonored supports it but it can be really dodgy. So why would Fallout 4 work with Crossfire? =D Bethesda rarely bother with multi-GPU support because most of their games are kinda meh on graphics anyway, they're infamous for it.
