what are you getting for xmas?

I'm in the same boat, with no idea what I want. So I work on the basis that if I can't think what I want, I can't want it much, so buying something is buying for the hell of it. I've decided that what I want, within the realms of anything I might actually get, is nothing. And it's what I expect to get, and will be delighted if it happens.

If, however, Aladin's genie hapoens to be watching, an Aston Martin DB10 would be appreciated.
 
My first shift in my new job after training and induction, oh and turning 30.

Other than that, I don't ask for anything ever.

However for buying for other people, I'd quite like to get the woman a new tablet, the samsung galaxies arent too bad - we managed to get our boy one for £35 and then £84 I think it was in boosted vouchers with a known supermarket. I've had a play on it and it does the job nicely.

Really depends on your budget I guess. If you don't have one already, a cheap CPU heavy machine for streaming to devices in your house or to your devices if your internet is any good.
 
Aside from the usual sweets/booze/toiletries/underwear etc. I think I'm just getting some euros for a holiday in January. Oh and also a nice waterproof jacket which I got early because it seemed to be raining every day for about 3 weeks straight recently - of course since I've got it, I've not been out in the rain once :rolleyes::D
 
Central heating and some fires...Yay.

Maybe even a new couch and some carpet............a month today you say......Er not much time then

I am likely getting the standard pack of deodorant/showergel giftpack from family and probably a small voucher if i get anything from close relations.

I will also be getting a hefty bill from whatever 'I' decide to get the missus. Y'know because she knows what she wants, she wants to choose it but doesnt want to ruin the fun :confused:?

I was gonna buy myself Oculus CV1 on release though. Shame its been delayed a little.

I struggle to see the fun in Christmas for someone in my position. Especially after having done my time in retail where Christmas starts sept 1st and ends the day before whatever sad excuse they decide to use for the next promotion offer season.
