Are Cryorig coolers ever coming to OCUK?

Why not? Took me two minutes to install it.
because i use air coolers for binning cpus and when you have to take it on and off 10+ times, you see which mounting hardware is the best. i did have it in my main rig for a couple of months and it was fine in there :)

Ah, so it wasn't a problem wiht how good the mount actually is or how well it works in normal applications, but it wasn't fast enough when R&R'ing cooler and CPU in a production like use (I assume because of needing to use screwdriver down through cooler).

Sorry, but that hardly makes it anything but not best suited for a very unique and rarely done application. In fact that is an application most users have not nor will every be doing.

Could I ask what cooler did you find the easiest to use for that kind of production application use?

its still not as good because the heat pipes are offset so that is harder to mount, but you get better ram clearance. the fan clips system is also bad because it mounts onto plastic and they are way to tight for no reason meaning its harder to install in a small case.

tbh a part from the way it looks its not a great cooler, the performance is very average as well. there isn't really anything wrong with any of the big air cooler, but its the smaller things which make people choose between them........

You make me laugh. All it take sot mount the R1 quickly is knowing how to set it on CPU properly positioned. The fans don't even need to be removed. But user must know how to index it onto motheboard / CPU .. but that applies to other coolers too. And most other coolers require fan removal to mount.

I test coolers all the time .. at least a couple a month, sometimes more. The best performing coolers right now are R1 Ultimate, PH-TC14PE, NH-D15, Silver Arrow IB-E with many others only a couple degrees warmer. I probably have 20 or more setting around the shop at any given time.

Apart from the fact reviews have it cooling better than pretty much anything else other than the biggest and highest end AIO water coolers.

I took mine off the other day to clean it and it wasn't specifically hard to remove, although the fan clips were a pain in my small case.

Just looked at the Hybrid AIO watercooler, looks a good idea, will be interesting to see if it makes a noticeable difference.

yea I would like to see a review on it compared to a few of the high end Air coolers and the other more popular AIO units.

both my systems are on Air at the moment. would love to do a custom loop but I swap and change bits to often for that carry on..

Maybe once im settled on my spec I might do it but at the moment im looking at either a different branded 970 or a 390... still tempted to stay with the 970 but the 8gb vram might sway me but looking at reviews and a few video comparisons the 970 seems to have the edge over the 390 in the current games even with the 3.5 vram
