The wife wanted them up today but I've managed to divert her until at least next weekend.

We normally take them down a few days after Christmas as by boxing day we are usually fed up of it all!

Usually sometime around the second week in December for me, if I do.. I'm not massively bothered though to be honest.

Around the 15th December normally. Although last year I didn't put mine up at all as I wasn't home for it.

Ours will be up next weekend - unless I manage to hide the tree really well. We take the stuff down around the first weekend in January. Our son's taking an interest in the whole thing this year, it's quite scary how quickly a young child can be slid into the tradition.

I do my lights in the nearest weekend to Advent, which would be today (29th Nov). I take them down on 6th Jan.

Apart from that, my rule is that I buy an extra set of lights for every year that I've lived in my house. 10th year now, but 2 sets have failed, so I put up 8 sets tonight.
