I ordered an ASROCK 1150 Z97 Anniversary Motherboard the other day online, and In the last 10mins I've took delivery of an ASROCK Z97M Pro 4 instead.

My dilemma is, should I return it for the correct motherboard, or keep the Pro 4 which is worth more, but a Micro ATX.

It's for my sons Xmas present. I've got him a NZXT H440 case, and he will be running one graphics card only. Also the CPU I have him is a i5 4690K, will the Pro 4 be better for this CPU?

One thing to think about is if the board fails in any way and you need to return it to the retailer then you will not be returning the board that you ordered from them so they will probably reject it.

I didn't think of that.

Notify them of the mistake, hopefully they let you keep it, honesty is the best cause. Tell them you are happy to keep it, just for ease of use ;) Worst they can do is swap it for the board you originally ordered i suppose so hey ho give it a whirl!

If its from a company rhyming with scam, they will probably actually collect it, because of the few quid they will lose lol

It wasn't through Scam lol. I used Flubit.

I've emailed them about it, but no reply as of yet. If It's returned to them, I really cant see me having the replacement before Xmas.
