ISIL, ISIS, Daesh discussion thread.

that isn't what you said though - for context here is the original post - nothing about weapons inspections there:

now you're throwing in conditions about weapons inspections etc.. which would require western interference.... and of course what happens when he kicks out the weapons inspectors?

The west go to war, ISIS replaces him, then I as a Londoner has to worry about someone pulling out an AK47 while going to work while someone like you defends how ISIS came into being while living outside London.

do you think you perhaps worry too much? Of all the things that could kill you it is unlikely a terror attack is going to be it

The army of 70,000 "troops" in Syria.

Seems 40,000 have been classed as "moderates" and 30,000 as "less moderate".

Sounds like a recipe for disaster if you ask me.

you're not making any sense - do you not understand the difference between pointing something out objectively on a forum such as this and going up to an individual victim and saying something to their face purely in order to antagonize them?

Social media, many things these days are picked up and tweeted in a flash these days, if you don't mean don't say it just for argument sake.

eh? I do mean it - you're very unlikely to be killed in a terror attack. That is just an objective fact.

Why you'd want me to say that to someone who has lost someone in a terror attack is still rather strange?

And I said that the the families of those killed in the Paris attacks would disagree with your statement. Two attacks in the same city in a period of 10 months and more expected in same city. That means its no longer strange for that city.

no you didn't say that... you're doing that thing again where you claim to have said something you didn't - I can scroll up and see exactly what you said so it is a bit pointless

tis irrelevant whether some random people who are related to some victims of some other attack would agree or disagree with the statement that you're unlikely to be killed in a terror attack

you are unlikely to be killed in a terror attack!

If you say so..... I am Jesus.

I am truly Jesus the son of God. ISIS say they are Islamic, now going by some of the logic in this thread just because someone says they are something makes them that thing, so using that logic some of you use then that does make me Jesus the son of God.

I've read some of these comments today here and it's funny when I see people say that ISIS is not raging a religious war(they are) or the most laughable comment here saying they are not Muslim...

+1. It's the Islamist ideology that's responsible for the conflicts raging across the Middle East, whatever name you place upon it, ISIS, Al Qaeda, Al Shabab, the underlying platform is the same, Islam.

Watching the shills go at it hammer and tongs hopelessly trying to disassociate all things Islamic terrorism from Islam is most entertaining however. :D
