Rainbow Six: Siege (PS4 & Xbox One)

Think I will get this at Christmas, really enjoyed the beta. Keeps you wanting to go back. Looking forward to trying out the rest of the maps.

Anyone remember swat 4? Is this like that? I sunk some rate hours into that.

Also now me and my mate have reached level 55 on cod we have got kind of bored with it. So in need of a new game.

I'm in the same boat, I've kinda hit the wall, I've no interest in starting over again, nothing left to unlock and I'm not a fan of many of the maps. I feel that Rainbow 6 will feed the strategic craving that COD lacks.

I'd be up for some Rainbow 6 teaming up too, it would add so much more than when playing with random people.
 
Dam mine has not arrived from the Game Collection first time I have had not had something from them the day before but not even received it on release day. :(
 
Seems to be some delay with Amazon updating stock / price.

I just managed to buy it from Tesco for £27 using a load of accrued club card point vouchers! Very pleased with that. Finally found a good use for them.

Says I need to wait till the 8th to go to my local store and collect though! Seems odd as it came out today and they can easily just grab a copy from existing stock I would have imagined. We will see though.

That might have something to do with Black Friday, I popped on to Tesco to check to R6 price and there was a banner stating that delivery of items could be delayed up to 7 days due to the Black Friday demand.

Damn. I might just go in and kick off. Hopefully they will just grab a copy from existing stock and hand it to me. My nearest store is huge so they must have loads of copies. Even if I need to wait till the 8th, was worth it for that sort of discount. Guess I could have just bought it in store though and used vouchers at the checkout... Dunno if you can even do that with Tesco.
 
Anyone on the fence about this, the server issues seem non-existent now the game is out proper, really enjoying this actually, seems like I'll be playing this for ages!
 
Agreed, the server problems are gone. I had some great games last night and didn't even fire up Just Cause 3.

Too many games right now but this is going to be my focus for now.

Does anyone have the Gold Edition on the xbox one? Im showing as having a crazy amount of "Rainbow Credits" enough to buy every skin in the game and a load of boosters, is it meant to be like that?
 
Loaded last night but couldn't get on a server so just had a go at the single game.

So far I'm enjoying it more than some of my recent purchases.
 
It has some 11 single player missions but they a cross between tutorials and challenges.
They are not easy that's for sure, tried to run and gun the first one thinking it would be easy and got shot in the face first time though.

If you arent interested in the MP or COOP game modes then its not worth looking at.

I have had no server issues since release but im probably not on the same servers as most people here.
 
The Amazon price has finally come back down to earth so I've decided to pick this up, should arrive tomorrow. If anyone would like to team up (with mic) then feel free to add me. (PS4) blitzben85
 
I got constant server issues last night, When in a team of 2 it was fine'ish, however when the rest of my friends came on (party of 5) it took almost 40 minutes to get a game, when we were in the first game it ran pretty smooth after than, was still disappointing though

The game doesn't like streaming to the windows 10 xbox app, which is where I mainly play from, constant game and console crashes, when I switched to the TV it was fine
 
Can anyone reccomend a decent headset? Been missing out by not having a mic I feel.

The full game is so much better than the beta was, much better maps and modes too, love it so far.
 
Does anyone have the full game but haven't purchased it?
I downloaded the beta and although didnt play it, when i look at the game in the Xbox store it only says Play, no price mentioned, as if I have purchased it.

My son played a game last night and earned an achievement, but we definitely haven't bought it.
