The IWF from memory takes in reports for sites no matter where they're based and passes it on if needed (so if the site is in say America it'll pass it on to the U.S. authorities).
IIRC they will at the very least if it's anything dodgy relating to children issue a notice to the various UK ISP's to block it.
 
Let me see if I have this straight, you got caught looking at tentacle filth and made something up about looking for a restaurant and you are doing this to substantiate the rambling explanation?

OP reminds me of the sort of stories you hear when people talk about a sexually embarrassing accident.

'I just got in from my weekly cucumber shop (i eat healthily, body is a temple and stuff) and decided the top of the stairs was in desperate need of cleaning, so i put the shopping down immediately at the bottom of the stairs and proceeded to clean them. Of course it was slippery after the clean and ended up tumbling down. Due to my fitness and past judo experiences, i broke my fall perfectly without injury or marks to myself except for the ninja cucumber i left at the bottom of the stairs. This cucumber is now stuck in my bottom'

My gf mum is an A&E nurse and this is a real story from June. I didn't even spice the content up lol. Suspicious background story to what would be a trivial and not so suspicious question without it.
 
I didn't want to give the restaurant name since I assumed a mod would delete my post and I would get a suspension or something. Not something I would want to promote anyway.

Regarding the image blocking, you can't control what websites show around the content you are viewing, and I would rather be in charge of that. For example, on Youtube I have been watching videos of fixes/stretches to do for bicep tendinitis and then it started recommending videos on the side of surgery of biceps with the surgeon cutting someone's shoulder open.

why would you get a suspension or something for saying the name of a restaurant - now if you linked to the restaurants new website then yes I'd understand.

if mcdonalds fast food emporium website was taken over and someone loaded it full of dog pr0n and I came on here and mentioned it - I'd hardly expect a suspension unless I had directly linked to said doggie business.

perhaps a mod should clarify?!

that said, I was jesting when I said you should post the restaurant name. I actually would rather watch cat pee drying out than watch anime - and for clarity by that I mean the japanesey kiddy nonsense
