G4, best sub £300 phone?

As above. Nexus 6 64GB is on sale too for £310 which would be my choice.

Extra 10% off if you have a Unicode.

From my own experience the G4 is probably the best handset I've had, so much so I'm thinking of buying another one, I like the look of the Nexus 6 but think its just too big, the g4 for me is border line, and the lack of sd is a little off putting.

Yeah it depends on your needs. I sold the G4 for a Nexus 6.

G4 Pro's

Removable battery + sd slot
Better camera than Nexus 6
Leather back options

Nexus 6 Pro's

Stock Android + fast updates
Stereo front facing speakers
OLED screen (if that matters to you)

Thanks for the opinions :)
I think the Nexus 6 is tad too big for me, as the G4 is pushing things size wise. Hoping the slight curvature will make it a bit more pocket friendly.
I've been reading good things about the G4, and seems hard to beat for the price, and available from 'trustworthy' outlets...So no ebay. Sorry would rather not risk it.

I do like the idea of a removable battery, and SD card slot.

I've had the G4 for a couple of months now and I have to say it's the best I've owned!

Went from a Nexus 5 to a HTC One M8 and finally on to the G4 - just ticks all the boxes for me, amazing screen, great camera, expandable storage, big internal memory so no issues with app installation and 3GB of RAM - the list goes on!

Is the G4 better than the G3, which was cheap-ish and had a great screen & camera but was ridiculously slow & laggy for a flagship phone.

Got one today after much research. Black leather option. Cant fault it, I was on iphone before but it was going to be at least double the money to get an Apple logo and equivalent spec.

Amazing screen, great camera, removable battery, SD slot, grrat price. What's not to like really.

Will let you know tomorrow as that is when mine should turn up, cost me £277 and it looks a great bit of tech, should be a nice step up from my Sony Xperia Z Ultra and Nokia Lumia 930.

Ive been playing with the G4 a few days now, and its surpassed my expectations :)
I thought the Sony screen was good, but the colours and blacks of the G4 are superb, the camera is excellent, and the manual mode is in a different league. The only negative I have about the camera is, unlike the Sony, I cannot turn the flashlight on and use the camera app, which was ideal for settting up a photo in total darkness :(

I updated to MM through LGs pc software and everything went smoothly.

Its the little touches that make the phone great also, like the double tap wake and sleep feature, implemented better than Sony's.

So far very happy :)
