I jumped on for a while. Couldn't get into it. I think just cause has ruined it for me for a while, everything is just so much slower :s 'You mean I have to walk the 100m to my car?'

I'll try again, I really want to do the heists.
 
Met my first modders tonight. Had all sorts of stuff thrown on top of me. The big bog brush thing i had on me stopped the cops being able to see me so i could fist fight them without getting shot. Was fun for a while.

When playing GTA again after just cause 3 and I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere I keep forgetting I have no grappling hook and instead I have to walk or somehow get a lift :)

This is after 600hrs of GTA and only 20 on JC3, that grappling hook is so handy I miss it.
 
Gonna have to leave it there slash, just jumped back into that lobby after we go that modder guy out, loaded into my garage with money falling on my head then attack of the clones....crashed.

That would be immense to have in GTA!

I tend to just join a new session when I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere so I get sent to my garage. Cba walking to a road if its far.

That was hilarious! I was in absolute stitches when you were 'running' for my Valkyrie - I wasn't even sure if you'd got in when you were sat on the chainguns on the side :p

No worries matey, I gave up not long after too if I'm honest. What's strange about the money dropping is that in the past, you had to be within a certain range of a modder for it to happen. Previously if you stepped out of range, the money stopped and if you re-entered range, it started again.

Yesterday the money was just dropping randomly. I have a feeling when we were at the heliport where the Hydra spawns (nearest the beach), one of the modders was invisible and standing next to us. I think I've got some footage from a modder being completely invisible before, there's literally no indication they're there.
 
Yeah there was several invisible modders on yesterday, im guessing its just been added to the modpacks so theyre all using it atm, bit like when the clone crash mod came out. I was basically getting crashed out by anyone i killed for a couple of days.
 
I'll jump on again later.

Did meet a friendly modder for a change. Didn't kill or annoy anyone and was just spawning the odd vehicle and driving a few of us across the map at super speed, including a blimp. We spent around an hour messing about before I joined a mission.

Did make a nice change instead of seeing the mass destruction modders.
 
Hehe yeah, a lot of them claim to be nice modders, but when they get frustrated they always turn to the dark side :)

If they were really nice they would have uninstalled their mods along time ago.
 
Good session last night doing a few varied jobs - not a fan of the running back ones, it takes forever to get in and then the game ends quite quickly. Knocking the car over the bridge was certainly a highlight though :D

ps. Radeon85 - I'm coming for you next time :p the Relay race had me in stitches and raging at the same time!
 
I am quite happy with my modified quentins + reshade and am scared to change it lol!

Will try and jump on tonight for a little while, work has been mental these last few weeks.

Outlined in the guide but I will reaffirm as someone who has done it, for peace of mind more than anything I assume:

How to install:
1. Download, extract and launch ReShade Setup @ http://reshade.me/#download (safe link, checked it for you)
2. Select game /Grand Theft Auto V/PlayGTAV.exe (there is only button on this program from what I can remember)
3. Autodetect should fail, so select Direct3D 10/11(chose 11 unless you hav set GTA to run at dx10)
4. Close all windows
5 Download preset and rename to "SweetFX_settings.txt"
6. Copy SweetFX_settings.txt to \Grand Theft Auto V\SweetFX, overwriting the existing file
7. Launch game
8. Adjust In-game brightness to your taste
9. Toggle mod using Scroll-Lock

If it doesn't work for whatever reason, you can delete everything it adds in so take a screenshot of the default GTA folder before starting.

In addition, if it also fails, I will zip my settings and upload them for you so you can just extract to the game directory.

No pain process :)

EDIT: I might actually change my sweetfx setting at some point for a change. I think the only reason I have kept mine for so long is because it looks epic, and also doesn't glitch menus.

Hi,

I downloaded it and ran the ReShade Setup, but when I click on 'Select Game' and browse my Steam Apps/Common/GTA V folder to find the GTAV.exe, it says 'Success' and I can't change the little check buttons underneath from DX9 to DX10/11?

Can you take a screenshot of the GTA folder?

Also if you run the game, what happens?

Finally - which exe did you select? PlayGTAV.exe?
