Why Are Westerners Having Less Kids ?

having kids is a trade off. you loose a lot of time, money and freedom but gain soemthign incredibly rewarding. yesterday afternoon was a highlight of this - I wanted to go on a bike ride but it was a Bday part of our child's friend at a local swimming pool so i had to go swimming with her. For an hour she was giggling and screaming in my face, saying "Dadda Dadda Dadda is just priceless". When we got home after dinner she said "dadda 'uddle", first time she tried to say the word cuddle, again just priceless. this morning she picked her swim suit off the drying rack and gave it to me and said "dadda more" with huge puppy dog eyes. that is much more valuable than sleeping in on a sunday.

Perhaps we need to rearrange our economy rather than try and keep pumping out more kids and increasing the population?
 
Too much intelligence/overthinking. They debate wether they can afford to bring up kids in a country... which gives you free money to bring up kids.

There are people living in poverty that have 10 kids... they don't think they just do. Feel like having sex? Do it, babies pop out. If they had intelligence they wouldn't be living in poverty in the first place.

Worst excuse is not having less kids cos world is evil... world is evil bacause intelligent people are having less kids - leave it up to the stupid ones to populate the earth.

India 1.3bn population - average IQ: 80.

Even in the UK stupid couples have more children than intelligent middle class ones, and at an earlier age as well (18-24).

Women more career oriented than before. Women's bodies are designed to pop out babies and nurture them, nothing more nothing less. Only reason they can have careers is because of the recent phenomenon of admin/advertising etc jobs - jobs which in a primitive state would not exist. Japan has one of the biggest problems with this.

People think they can have few kids and raise them really well to be successful... real result is they end up with two sons who do nothing but play video games all day and fear approaching women thus will not give them grand children. Better job is to have 10 kids and leave the environment to raise them.

Sometimes it's good to be in touch with your animal side. After all, we are here to breed just like animale - the fact that we have all this tech is just to allow us to have some fun whilst fulfilling our natural roles as human beings, and not intended as a substitute.

Yeah I've never heard anyone say it but I've seen people who I assume must feel that way, particularly a few absentee fathers I've come across in my lifetime. I don't think I could personally abandon a kid but I'm not sure I could completely hide my resentment either. I'm sure it's a rewarding experience for many but I can imagine why.
 
- Because Grandparents don't baby sit
- Your social life has more priority than family life
- Lack of Baby sitters
- EA ****** games are more important

I blame feminism. Women don't want children anymore they want a career and independence. Bias divorce courts that side with women add risk of rarely seeing your children when the feminist decides she can do better. Not enough loyal woman anymore they are taught from a young age not to put up with anything. This forces men away as they can't be themselves anymore and why divorce rates are so high. The cost is a big factor but we see its financially easier to have children if you are a single mom than a single household earning family. This further distorts incentives. As non western families have higher rates of welfare usage. This is how they can afford big families.
A sheer lack of women that are suitable for long term families and being mothers due to feminist ideals. Not popular opinions for sure and there are many western women that are good mothers. They are just not that easy to find. To be fair if I want a family I would be looking for an east Asian woman or a very westernised Indian woman. I've given up hope finding a suitable western woman and a lot of men are the same when it comes to finding a wife these days. While in non western cultures in the UK the woman still take on a mor e traditional role on the nuclear family with less divorce and so on.

That outlined part is quite a good point actually, I have a large social circle and it's mainly all women as I have a lot of women in my family who surprise have lots of female friends but I have only met a small number of women who can be faithful to the men in their lives and that is quite sad :(
