Any connoisseurs of cream liqueur on here? My folks do love a bit of Bailey's at christmas and I was thinking of picking up a bottle or two for them, but I was wondering if there was something better to get.

Weird you say this, I was looking at cream liqueurs last night.

The only other one I can recall having is the Briottet Caramel Liqueur, which was awesome but not quite the same as Baileys. I get the feeling that Baileys has cornered the market, how much more can you really do? Though, you could always make it yourself! Quite a simple recipe.

Though, I did come across a pistachio cream liqueur which would be awesome I reckon: https://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/P-16173.aspx

I'm quite happy with my Baileys. So much so I bought 7 bottles to last over Christmas. 8 if you count the Orange Truffle flavour :)

Oh yeah - got it at a tenner a bottle too! :D

Imagine I shall be picking up a bottle or two, I only tend to get a taste for it around Christmas although it is very good!

Would you say they are both like Banana and Strawberry milkshake? The reviews for the second one say it is. Tempted to try the banana one.

I would rather a real white russian made with cream.

Tip: To be extra especially sure that no curdling happens, keep all the ingredients in the fridge. So everything is nice and cool before hand.
