What would you do? I have 380 4GB and 660ti 3GB.

I recently bought a Gigabyte R9 380 4GB G1.
A colleague had a computer fire, and I bought his old EVGA 660 Ti 3GB SC. (Works fine).

I had planned on getting a 4K monitor, and also had planned on using the 660ti in the garage, but frankly, it's getting too cold to be out there (way below freezing).

So... wondering what I should do. Should I try and sell the (boxed) 660ti and keep the 380. Should I sell the 380 and keep the 660ti? Should i try and sell both and get something better? Should I buy a monitor or something.

Honestly.. I have so many idea's I don't really know what to do lol.

Thanks. I am aware the 380 is faster :) Just wondering what the heck to do lol.

Running at 1080p, and it is likely if I get a 4K screen I will still run games at 1080p.

If I kept the 660ti I would overclock the nuts off it.

Kinda wondering whether I should sell one of them to help fund the screen lol. (or do something else entirely).

if you can get close to £200 for both cards, sell and get a 390 8GB. Will be better for 1440P but no single card is good enough of 4K yet. However, you could crossfire the 390 for 4K later on.

Hdmi2.0 something to think about.
Er... Gregster? (Name change?)

It certainly is, as if going AMD that would mean an adapter which incurs extra cost.... IF and only if I decide to buy something like a TV as a monitor (Seiki SE42UMS or Vizio M43-C1).

I can get a Seiki SE42UMS for about $225 as I have money in my amazon account, which is quite an interesting proposition, but I don't know whether I should bother.

I'm wondering if that is an aside anyway, and just focus on what to do with the cards.

OK.. going for the sell the 660Ti option, and see where I go from there. (My wife says I am weird for wanting a TV for a 4K monitor and why don't I just by a monitor instead lol.. she is kinda right....)

+1, AMD 390 would be your best bet if you can sell the other two.

Well so far, I've managed to buy myself a 4K screen lol. Seiki SE42UGT. Looks very pretty for the money. Netflix 4K looks rather good. I didn't go with the SE42UMS model, as just to be utterly honest, I went to a store to check out the panel quality of the UGT to decide if I should get the UMS and the UGT has great viewing angles etc, so I decided to get that one.

I've had no one in other forums (non-PC forums) wanting the 660Ti though so farm, oh how I missed OcUK. For the moment I think I am sticking with the 380 and will be playing at 1920x1080 on this screen.

On a separate note, I realized my APU iGPU will do 4K res, so no reason I couldn't sell both cards and temporarily use that whilst waiting for a good deal to show up.
