Tax direct debit still taken after selling car?

Contacted dvla they are sending my refund via cheque and should be with me any day soon

Still an incredibly inefficient system it seems.

Apparently the systems didn't pick up that I had sorn in time yet it was seven days!!!

Bad isnt it!

I was told 4-6weeks for my cheque lol
