I recently upgraded from a Nexus 5 (2013) which I'd owned since launch, to a Moto X Style.
One of the key criteria for me was to keep cost down to a reasonable level, while at the same time buying something which felt like an upgrade to my Nexus 5.
I considered a number of different handsets including the OnePlus Two, WileyFox Storm, Nexus 5X & 6P, Moto G, Moto X Play and Style.
The Moto X style won the contest, on account of cost vs hardware spec and near stock Android experience (as stock as you'll get, without going down the Nexus route).
Very pleased with it so far. Amazing screen, good battery life, decent camera. The performance is excellent and should only improve when Android M comes to the phone. It's also got a Micro SD card slot too, which is a big bonus
