Mondeo - What should I look out for?

There's no real comparison between proper factory Xenons and the higher output halogen bulbs like the Xtreme Vision and Osrams. In the past I went from a Fiesta to a Focus with xenons - absolutely amazing. I ended up selling the car and went back to another Fiesta with halogen bulbs - even after putting Xtreme Visions in it felt like I had no headlights on.

Xenons it is then!

It's only Titanium but it does me just fine. Few mods planned but in no hurry. It's just done over 35k now

Fair enough - I don't mind modding mine but for stuff like heated seats and factory fit Xenons, its so much hassle.

I'm still looking and will update the thread accordingly.

This is what I'm basing my research on - Taken for the 08 Mondeo brochure. Titanium X comes with the seats and X Sport for Xenons. I guess yours were added as options?

Yes, the trim was T and the original owner added them as extras. I must say though, I love my heated seats :D

Although I don't have rain censored wipers or auto lights. I've not researched it but I think the mk4.5 came in after 2007 where the Titanium trim may have been amended.

Jezus...I paid close to 6k for my 2.5T Mk4 with 17.5k miles on it. I love my Mk4, easy to drive, phower when you need it and comfortable :)
That's quite cheap. Have u noticed the 2.5T goes for silly money now because there's a demand for them with there being so few about. Like the mk3 ST220 they still go for 4k for good 9/10 year old examples. The 2.5T is the only engine that interests me in the mk4 range but trying to get one in a Titanium X in a decent colour is nigh on impossible . I was looking for one for a while but ended up buying a Focus ST with the 2.5T engine in instead :D
