***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

Retiring Red 5 just as a whole new wave of Star Wars films is arriving seems like an odd move. Would that leave any UCS Star Wars sets active?

Picking one up after work. Not sure if i should build it know or wait until christmas. I also bricklinked the back to the future car for £30 so looking forward
to building that as well.

Local Smyths had a "refurbished" death star in for retail price, dunno what refurbished means but would have expected it to be cheaper, left it.

Going to go to lego shop and toys r us tonight for a mooch around

I'm down camped in the premier inn next to excel in London and it would appear that something Lego is happening over the weekend.

I've just found my childhood again by purchasing a few Star Wars Lego sets and wondered if it's worth popping into excel to check things out ?

It's the Brick show at Excel this weekend.

I don't know if technic is on-topic here, but I had the opportunity to buy 42009 a few weeks ago for £105.00, can't find it anywhere now for less than £140. I think it's been retired too :(

I really wanted that gingerbread house. They still charged me 5p for a bag!

Santa ain't taking any credit for this.

Lol, I ordered online, free postage and I bet the there are plenty of plastics in the packaging !

I drove to my nearest shop from work as stupidly there is no Lego store in Cambridge, I wanted as good a condition box as possible. I didn't trust the delivery and I could hardly say to my son he couldn't open it due to the box not being mint :D

:D

If you’re in need of something to do this weekend, here’s a project that’s totally worth your time.

Presenting a machine for dispensing McDonald’s chicken McNuggets. Made out Lego. Nothing is better than this.

The magical creation has been dreamt up by the genius minds of AstonishingStudios, who are handily selling Lego kits so you can make your very own McNugget machine.

Make ten. Bring them out at parties. You just took your fast food feast to another level. Your friends are going to be so impressed.

Hi there,

Great news! We’ve been looking into how we can improve our LEGO® Ideas 21303 WALL·E set and we have an update for you.

For those fans who feel LEGO WALL·E’s head moves a bit too freely, our designers have created an alternative build for the robot’s neck. In case you’d like to try out this alternative design, we’ve mailed you a small set of extra bricks and instructions free of charge. These should arrive within 10 working days.

If you’ve already built your LEGO WALL·E and you want to try this new design, simply follow the instructions and use the new bricks to rebuild the robot’s neck. Of course, if you’re happy with your robot as he is, you can just add these bricks to your LEGO collection.

Kind regards,
