So my sister and her friends have missed their flight home from Amsterdam. They need to get a return flight but don't have the means to do it from Amsterdam airport and have asked me to search but I don't have a clue what I'm doing.

What sites should I check for a one way flight? I'm okay to drive to just about any Airport in the UK if I have to but would prefer something closer to the North East. (Leeds, Teesside, Newcastle)

Did they ask their airline if they can be accommodated on a following flight?

Using the Skyscanner link.

KLM will fly to Leeds for £300 and leaves at 21:45

KLM to Newcastle is £400 at 21:50

KLM to Durham is £406 at 21:25

e: Glaucus's options are probably most cost effective. :D

She'll have means to book a flight no doubt but all 3 of them will be stoned out of their minds.

Cheapest is Flybe to either Manchester or Liverpool.

Thanks for the help guys.

The Leeds one is like a 10hr stop over at London, I assume the others are similar as well, hence price.

And :p

They're all direct, 1h 10m. At least I selected the Direct only option. /shrug

You may have to pay extra for picking up your ticket and checking in, as they can't do it online.
