So I'am using Google Earth, for a minor mapping project, and yet after I have cleared the cache and disk cache, there are parts of it which are still blurred, why and is there anything I can do so it isn't blurry?

Thread hijack.
Google earth essentially crashes when I try to load a massive gps file. Wondering if its googe earth that can't handle it or if my computer just aint up to the task, it's a slow i3 with only 4gb ram.

Wondering if someone with a beast of a machine could try it and see if it works?
Gpx file can be had here.

It becomes unresponsive when I try zooming in or panning.

Testing...

edit:

I've loaded the file and I can zoom/pan without an issue. It doesn't seem to use much RAM when loading the GPS file, 315mb. I am running an i7 with 16GB RAM though.

I also have an i& with 16gb and whatever it is I can zoom & pan.
What exactly is your file and what does it do?

it's a route, should be showing a blue track across the north coast of Europe.

yeah on my laptop it's only showing 700mb and 25% cpu yet as soon as I try panning or zooming it just doesn't do anything and becomes seemingly permanently unresponsive.

Mine was slow as hell as well. Not ground to a halt, but I couldn't use it while it was loading the GPS file.

Take that back...lol...sporadic 'not responding'
