just curious which GPU vendor you would go with?
Please Do Nvidia & AMD separately & reason why
Nvidia: EVGA, UK Support now & Decent Qaulity
AMD: Sapphire Very good qaulity cooler & RMA
Will there be much 'reason' in this thread?
I like to experience both vendors, so I tend to buy red / green / red / green & so on. My next card will probably be an AMD card.
AMD : MSI (most likely) as like EVGA, I don't think I've yet bought one of their cards. Can't say I'm all that enthused about some of their designs aesthetically speaking, though.
Nvidia : EVGA - due to the UK RMA. Been meaning to try one of their products for ages, but never seem to get around to it.

Nvidia: I buy and recently brought EVGA. Their Transferable Warranty is a nice bonus and RMA now in the UK is the icing on the cake.
AMD: Not really any loyalty, although typically always eneded up with sapphire except for my Nano which was XFX. Could not justify the £50 difference between XFX and all the others at the time for the same card.

Regarding card quality not performance:
For Nvidia I think EVGA was my top of the pile card. I've only owned one from EVGA, a 780 Classified and it was a really well built card let down only by the exclusion of a backplate which all high end models should have included not as pay for it extra's, Word on the street (this forum) is that there RMA set up is excellent but I've never used it myself.
From AMD my current Sapphire Fury Tri-x is the best quality, best built AMD card I've owned although I've read a couple of posts on this forum where people were saying there RMA isn't the best I think there cards certainly are. I moved over to MSI for a while when I moved from Sapphire Dual-x 7850's to an MSI TFIII 7950 boost which was a nicely built good quality card but I ended up regretting it 3 MSI cards later with an MSI 290x TFIV Gaming so now I'm back on Sapphire and a lot happier for it.
Nvidia branded cards I've owned include Asus, EVGA, Inno3d and MSI.
AMD branded cards I've owned include Asus, MSI, Sapphire and VTX.

I don't have any manufacturer loyalty as such - I've gone off EVGA because their products just haven't been very compelling at a particular price point. Gigabyte, although UK, I've had problems with their support in the past (and the G1 980ti seemed to be noisier for a given temp due to using small fans).
I've currently got an MSI and an Asus card simply because I liked the product and it was at a price point I was happy with at the time I ordered. Having 2 I'm probably less bothered about one of them being out of action as long as they do get sorted.
AMD I've never needed to use manufacturer support as the problems have been on AMD's end and I've just sold them on to get around the issue.

I don't think I'd ever get a cheaper brand like powercolor again - my 7950 didn't even run properly at stock memory clock, even if it's core did clock well.
