Please respect the fact I don't need a reply to this thread unless you have an R9 Fury X or are an AMD or Gigabyte Rep here. I need genuine replies from R9 Fury X owners, not heresay or opinion etc from everyone else. I didn't want the replies hidden among the normal Fury X threads etc as it is OP and please no AMD vs Nvidia.

I have a Gigabyte R9 Fury X in my possession and it is making the following noises at idle in normal 2D Windows operation. My question is a simple "is this R9 Fury X faulty"?

Note: If a dropbox sign in box appears just click "no thanks, continue" at the bottom.

Thanks for keeping this thread respectful and for your replies.

I currently own a fury x, i have a custom block on it now however, but the noise you are referring to sounds like pump?

I remember my fury x before i put the custom block on it having a noise similar to that?

See what other people say...

Mine didn't make that noise but there are plenty that do and if mine did make that noise, it would have been returned.

Thanks for the input guys it is much appreciated. If anyone has a working R9 Fury X as it should sound could they post a quick video as a comparison please?

I am having difficulty proving this is not a normal idle noise for a Fury X.

Faulty aio pump, they are just fobbing you off, crazy part is as stated above-it is a known fault.

Tell them either replace it or you are going to inform your cc to incur a charge back.
