'tis that time of year again when there's more condensation on the inside windows of the car than the outside, which takes an age to clean with squeegee and waiting heater to warm up. We've just put a couple of Aero 360's in strategic locations in the house which are working well, so wondering if there's something similar/suitable for the car?

What would members recommend - preferable something wringable or drainable rather than having to be dried indoors which just transfers the moisture to the house?

If you have air conditioning use that when have to de-mist a car. However its normally due to another issue, have you checked if your carpets are dry?

You may have a door seal gone or have a leak somewhere causing moisture to build up. Pollen filter can cause this to happen if it has not been changed in ages.

This. Your car has a leak/damp somewhere, fix that, dry out the car and it won't happen again.

My 26 year old car doesn't mist up much at all but does a little, because there are some small leaks/poor seals which I know about and am too lazy to fix.

Just bunging a dehumidifier or some gel packs in the car to remove moisture might work for a bit, but it'll come back, fix the source of the problem first.

What the others have said, had the same problem in a previous car, got so bad that the inside of the windows started freezing. Turned out I had a leak in the brake servo seal!

Will see if there's any obvious source for excess humidity but the OP still stands, given the air in the car is saturated which product have OCUK members actually used to deal with this, over and above the root cause (please)?

Check your pollen filter. The wife's cars filter was well filthy, and caused the car to mist up badly.

In terms of a de-humidifier, i bought one from asda, a reusable/microwaveable one for £6 and leave it on the dash overnight, its pretty good to be honest, it keeps the windscreen clear, the boot window is a bit steamy so im thinking of buying another, but for the money you cant go wrong.
