Does it have to be a Z? Looking for a budget gaming build with DDR4

Can you do this with H170?

Yeah I know for sure h170 supports ddr 4 2400 did a friends upgrade with corsair ddr4 2400 asrock h170 mobo and i5 6600

Had a look at their website:

DDR4 Non-Z OC
Overclocking DDR4 memory modules is no longer limited to Z170 models. With ASRock’s DDR4 Non-Z OC users may overclock the memory of H170/Q170/B150/H110 models using certain memory sticks, such as Kingston or Samsung memory DIMMs

But I am unsure which particular models would do this at the cheapest. Will keep looking

The board I bought was the H170M Pro4 which was £75 no idea which is the cheapest good luck finding out

Well I went for a Asrock B150 board, don't need SLI/Cross fire. Thanks!

Will see if it lets me hit 2400!
