Agreed, I got 4 months for what I thought was a sarcastic post, but essentially implying the same thing.

But then I'm not a Politically Correct poster and hurfdurf is just another untouchable.

The poster has a track record of derailing these sort of threads in this was and accusing other posters in the thread, and the forum as a whole, in the same way as he has in this thread. Frankly that nothing is done by the moderators makes a mockery of the "charter" of the forum.

Best thing to do is put him on ignore and hope that some point in the future a moderator may actually do something about him. I doubt it though given the lack of action up to now.

You've got to love the even-handed consistency, haven't you.

He can literally say that "soandso condones rape", and nothing will be done. In this thread and others.

Personally I'm only interested in pointing out that some people get banned and some people (suspiciously all the ones on the Left) are just untouchable. When have you ever seen that poster who calls everyone a racist ever get banned?

Maybe if you're confused as to why someone hasn't been banned despite being reported then it means that your ideas of what the forum should look like doesn't reflect the ideas of the people who run it?

Indeed, I've reported people for blatant racism, sexism and what not in the past and nothings been done, the forum is fairly consistent within the rules and the mods generally take a back seat to anything outside it, which is fair. It's not how I would run the forum myself, especially considering its linked to a business, but then, PC enthusiasts are hardly the bastion of progressiveness so probably don't care all that much about what does and doesn't go on its forum.

I think you misread, I gave an example of an identical post which was treated in a completely different way by the same mod team.
I'm not expecting a forum to favour one side or the other, I'm expecting the exact opposite.
