Its quite something when someone demands you apply special conditions to stating a fact.
if there were any facts being stated in this thread you might have a point

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. yes, 2nd hand...
if you actually look back to my first comment, I didn't even reply to you, I just put a general statement that some people in the thread were saying things about FuryX's beating 980ti's were ignoring that not all 980ti's come with the same clocks out-of-the-box... you were the one that started quoting ME and turning this in to a handbags at dawn affair
You were the first one to crack and blurt out that you could do X Y or Z to make the Nvidia card faster and thus better than the Fury X no matter what.
Am I surprised? no not really. Even though this thread clearly says "R9 Nano £499 -> £399" it does not surprise me in the least.
So carry on.
I see everone on the AMD side is wilfully ignoring the fact that you can get out-of-the-box clocked 980ti's that run over 20% higher than the reference models being used to make their case
Of course the 980ti can be overclocked but I don't overclock my GPUs as I
It's not just those games either. The Fury X pulls ahead in Fallout 4, too.
Fury X.
Of course the 980ti can be overclocked but I don't overclock my GPUs as I have lost a couple in the past so I don't bother any more
And we've been here before too and the fact that you usually have to pay a premium for said cards means they're not exactly bargains.
the cost difference is 5%, the performance difference is 20%
Edit, just to clear this up. I have not personally attacked any one. I have been taken out of context and I address you as you deserve to be addressed.
So all you are doing is going "WAHHH MUMMY

OK just a question, I had 7970 Crossfire and one card died a few months ago. Looking for a quicker single card replacement - would a Nano at £389 be worth it? Or a 390 at £229?
Hi there
No price drop, OcUK is just moving the prices down to clear as not selling. We will then only stock the Sapphire product going forward until an official price move is made.
These need to be MSRP of £389.99, hopefully it will happen in 2016.![]()
anything that reverses the current trend of ridiculously big graphics cards without sacrificing much performance is worth it in my book
Theres a surprise! How did everyone and his dog know the nano was priced too high except AMD?!
Hi guys,
With the current state of drivers from both AMD and nVidia, what sort of power should I expect from Crossfire Nano compared to nVidia' side?
Can't remember where but the small 970 was compared with the nano somewhere and the Nano gave more FPS per Watt than the 970, especially as resolution went up. It wasn't a difference to base a decision on though, they were pretty similar.

Well with HMB saving a fair bit of space, i am sure we will see smaller cards. Perhaps not as small as the nano but small enough.
