** POTENTIALLY THE BEST GAMING MONITORS YET!! ** Acer 34" Ultra-wides

I managed the fix the problem. I used the 'Advanced display settings' and then 'Display adaptor properties' to change the X34 to 100Hz. Seems NV control panel is bugged. Now I have both screens on the X34 at 100Hz. Makes games look amazing.

Witcher 3 is awesome on this monitor

just got elite dangerous today... this is what this monitor was made for tbh..

ive never played space sims before but a massive space/astronomy fan.

waiting for my x52pro to turn up tomorrow.

Glad you didn't stay "out" then badboyuk?

Guys, my X34 arrived today. And well...

Holy crap is it amazing!
I feel so lucky. I've read numerous posts on the Internet about all the problems. I seem to have none except for some minor BLB, which I guess is to be expected in IPS panels. I've noticed that cameras make it look 100 times worse than it is in reality. Why was I even worrying in the first place? :)
100 Hz - check
No scnalines - check
No coil whine - check
No dead/stuck pixels - check
No wake from sleep issue - check
No dust particles - check
No blue banding - check

It's October build if anyone's interested.

Even though it was incredibly expensive, I feel like it's totally worth the price. So in case anyone is still wondering whether to buy it or not - go for it, you probably have a much greater chance of getting a good screen than a bad one (after all, most of the people who are happy with their monitors don't go posting on the forums about them) :)

Here's a pic of my gaming setup with x34:

After sending mine back to overclockers and was going to wait for the 27in 165hz ips version , i have now decided to give this monitor one more chance and trying to game on my 40in 4k philips is nothing compared to the acer x34 . didnt buy from here i bought it out of my catalogue as i had a bit a credit and only got to pay £600 (had to pay money on top of my balance) now over 12 months interest free . lets hope i get a good one . fingers crossed . i think it comes direct from acer im assuming .

Anyone moved from a 60Hz non-Gsync panel (LG 34UC97-S) to this one. Worth the premium? Really being attracted to the whole idea as I think it would vastly improve the experience and expect my GPU's will be fine powering it. Seems Gsync and higher refresh rate are worth it so will likely sell this one for it!

Your Titans will eat 3440x even with bells n' whistles.

Yer, they should do fine. Quiet interested in the G-Sync part as on the current panel, get so much tearing with V-Sync off and 100hz sound like a nice bonus :D. Alas, was hoping to hold out for possibly a 35" of this panel with slightly higher refresh rate, but may jump for it after selling current one.

Plus even typing this on a 3440 x 1440 panel, seeing those pics makes me want to open a new box :D

Tried turning Vsync off and capping frames at 59fps? Should reduce it...

Indeed, I tried it before but following your message just tried it again. I recall I had an issue last time in thinking capping the fps was not working, but seems I need to set the fps cap slightly lower and in this case set it to 57 fps as it always seems to run at that figure + 2 frames. But certainly improved, thanks :)

Thanks for the other advise, looking around already to see if I can sell off the current panel in the meantime and order this one.
