Have used an iPad, very nice, anything(Android) for under £100.

Light(ish) games and browsing, doesn't have to be top quality screen.

Ideally play GTA:SA and Portal also, can it be done?

I'd really try & put another £50 on top & go for the Nvidia Shield.

There was some Nexus 7 2013's under £100 the other week no idea if they still are.

£100 gets you not very much, usually 1GB of memory, 720p display, slow performance, dodgy touchscreen with IPS display if you're lucky.

Aim for £150, Shield Tablet K1 or if you want a 10" display the Lenovo Tab 2 A10 is great value for money.

I have an nVidia Shield highly recommend it. £150 tablets are a world away from £100 tablets. I know sometimes a budget is unmovable, but in the case of tablets i wouldn't compromise.

Not so anymore.

For example the Hudl 2 is £99 and has a quad core atom, 2GB RAM, 1080P capacitive display, Android 5.1, and is genuinely very nice and snappy to use. :)

I'm thinking of the larger 10" tablets, for smaller tablets there are some good options like the Hudl 2.

I can't think of any others though for under £100.
