Will the H100i 1155(IvyBridge) brackets/backplate work with a 1151(Skylake) socket?

I think the hole PCD's are the same across the two platforms so you should be fine.

Yes will work fine, you might wanna think about changing the fans on the cooler though ( unless you love noise )

This. The stock fans on the H100i are shocking. It will fit but it will be loud

yeah those fans really do let the whole thing down, can get so much more performance with less noise. seems like most do that though with exception to EK who basically through in some vardar F4's but that's more of a premium AIOC.

Yet to see one in the flesh. I see why they done it so they capture that market but if your going to spend £150+ then TBH just go for a custom loop. Each to their own but half the fun is building the loop imo.

But back on track swap the fans out for some better ones on the H100 and its a fairly decent way to get heat out the case rather than blowing round the case.
