What are you doing on Xmas eve?

Feeling stuffed but still eating, slowly sipping wine so I can avoid the endless enforced refills, watching TV, chatting with family.

These days I find it's a lot more fun to just have a couple glasses rather than a whole bottle :p I was always a lightweight, and I hate getting drunk. Hate it.

I don't go to church so no midnight mass for me.

Work then heading home to my parents. I've done the get hammered on Xmas eve thing enough, I'm just going to chill out this year and probably get a takeaway!

Got smashed on Christmas eve the past 3 years running, I always say I'm going to have a few but always get carried away!

Love the cheerful atmosphere

Driving South for Christmas this year, with the food for Christmas as I am cooking.

Gift shopping for the missus.*

Going out tonight for a few** so will probably spend most of tomorrow recovering by watching crap films on tv then a bit of late night wrapping.

Just remembered I have to build a PC yet and install Windows for my little girl...I hope it all goes well.

*not really as I am actually all sorted for a change.
**few beers tonight will be 5 or 6 pints but I'm a bit of a lightweight and will suffer for that.

I'll be meeting friends flying in from Australia (via Turkey) and cooking them a roast after a half day of work. Don't know why the office is open, but I'm not taking a leave day for 3 hours of work!

Work till lunchtime. Then a couple of pints, then home.

Wrap prezzies and other last minute things (last minute = couldn't be bothered till now).

Have finger food tea with wife and bairns while watching a xmassy movie, Home Alone 2 is on the cards this year.

Bairns in bed, get prezzies out of loft and place in living room.

Get slightly drunk. Try for happy, happy sexy time. Take no for an answer. Go to bed.

I think that pretty much sums up tomorrow for me.

Work til 10pm, then either head over to my wife's bar for 12 or go do a pub quiz. Won't be too much happening, as most of my friends are working Christmas Day, though I'll meet some for a meal once they finish at school. Just happens to be a Friday, which is my day off. Then back to work on Boxing Day.

Christmas isn't a thing here :p
