Car crashes into a costa coffee in Westerham, Kent

Quite a lot injured, but luckily, no fatalities as of yet.

Brings back terrible memories of the Glasgow tragedy last year. No time is good for these things, but Christmas Eve. Bloody hell.

And a bus has crashed in Peterborough. Firemen are currently trying to get people out.

What's going on?

I used to live in Westerham. V sad news. The junction that it sits on is a bit crap. I guess the driver was avoiding a car pulling out of the junction, or took the bend too fast.

Awful incident at Westerham - I sometimes go there for a coffee after walking in the area at the weekend, and I'm struggling to see quite how the accident happened.

Reports are saying that the driver was elderly man in his 80's. I am wondering if that Audi has an autobox, the guy has had a medical emergency and his foot has hit the accelerator and gone into the window head-on.

Sad news for all concerned.

Personally I like to see the facts before making ridiculous inaccurate narrow minded statements that bear no relation to reality.

I work with a chap who's in his 80's drives a nice new mazda 3 sport and is very good at driving.

No one know's why this has happened and the driver could have been fit and well before, anyone can have an accident.
