Got to be the 50 year one, unless it's larger size makes it uncomfortable to use, in which case the Ford Racing one.
Had a metal one before, awful, 90% of the time it's either too cold or too hot to hold. Got a urethane Nismo one now and it's nice.

You can't be having that stock knob though, looks like something cheap out of any run of the mill Ford.

Yes some parts in the Mustang are horrible, shift knob, reverse lockout collar very cheap and nasty, plastic trim around electric windows brittle hard plastic, really not nice.

Then you get to dash and door cards and they are nice quality leather.

Stock IMO looks the best then couldn't decide between billet and plain black - from the first image wrote off the plain black but it actually looks ok in situ.

Having driven it with the stock one, I can confirm the knob feels great in the palm of my hand quickly shifting back and forth.

I'd personally go stock, having had a metal gear knob it can get pretty hot if left in the sun while parked up and can be quite painful.

IF I had to go for the aftermarket purely on looks then it would be the plain billet metal one and some driving gloves :p

And ice cold in the winter.

I've had a metal gear knob before and wouldn't get another.

Black cue ball for me - whichever you prefer out of the plain / ford racing

Stock by a mile, the others looks cheap and nasty

I don't think its fair to say that the billet one looks cheap and nasty? I think it fits in quite well.

Though ultimately I'm not sure what the purpose of this thread is. It is your car, so surely you should just buy what you like?
