I bought the original witcher for a quid the other day - perhaps 2 (and 3 if I actually like them this time) will make a bit more sense to me afterwards!

Is Ashes of Singularity worth picking up for £30?

@Deathjester - Ashes of a Singularity can be had for £15-17 on G2A - Kinguin or £25 from the Stardock webstore.

It needs a good gfx card and preferably Win 10 if you want to run it using DX 12. It's early access/alpha and is quite playable and fun.

I have dual titans, so I won't be able to use DX 12. I do have win 10 tho.

The titans are only dx11? If so I would sell them and grab a pair of 980ti's or something.

Just bought Skyrim: Legendary Edition & AOE3 collection

Don't think theres much else taking my fancy currently apart form Ryse: Son of Rome but all the reported problems are putting me off.

They do support DX12, but there is no benefit to doing so for nvidia cards... DX11 performance is awful on AMD cards, so they get a big apparent boost on DX12 on Ashes

I never seen performance issues on either my 7990 or 390 on ashes with pretty much everything maxed iirc at 1440p. The DX12 build is a bit broken in the respect that the steam overview doesn't work and last time I played you can't invite other player into your game without using the steam overview >.>

I really can recommend Renowned Explorers - reminds me of a funny version of FTL. It's part adventure, part roguelike, part strategy.

Total Biscuit fully endorsed this and I can see why.

I bought Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Ultimate for £4.49 - I actually really like it. Something satisfying about playing the baddy, slicing people up with my light sabre and force lightning!!

Right no matter what else appears on sale on Steam I'm done with buying things. I've already spent £100 on games in December. That should keep my occupied for most of 2016. I still have 21 items in my wishlist though

Kerbal will take up ALL of your time, amazing game with so many mods as well..

Get ckan mod installer, add all the extra repositories via the settings tab and browse a few hundred mods...
