Was snowing before I went offline
Personally no, but Max settings is a stupid benchmark for people to do considering I run a 980ti at 1440p, and cant have max settings. TBH, even if I ran 1080p at max settings on GTA with my current rig, I reckon it would be lacking and dropped below 60.
The reason is MSAA - its an absolute dog in this game and really ruins performance, most people tbh have it off but everything else up full which looks fantastic regardless.
I had an NVidia 770, which I think has a bit less grunt than the 380 and it coped fine on relatively good settings(in single mode as I had two)
Great success!!!!!!

I run at x4 MSAA and have grass on normal. I prefer less jaggies than grass. post FX is also normal. With these I get 60fps and looks fantastic..
That will be why, start a heist, not snowing, mid heist, snowing. Was a little odd

SweetFX-injected SMAA is worse than the in-game FXAA.Ah cool.
I have everything up full inc postfx and grass but have msaa off completely.
I do however have sweetfx injecting smaa which takes care of most of the jaggies for me with minimal performance hit![]()

It's not dramatically different or anything. I doubt you'll see much difference unless you look closely. But the in-game FXAA does have *slightly* better jaggy coverage than that SMAA and its 'blur' is almost unnoticeable. It's a good FXAA implementation(by FXAA standards).Tbh I set these settings and sweetfx when I got the game and haven't really changed anything aside from resolution and grass when I upgraded.
So I haven't spent time messing with different configurations, might have a shot at changing some stuff over the weekend.![]()
can u change your ingame name by anychance?
can u change your ingame name by anychance?
Yep, you can change your Social Club username once a year..... I changed mine in April.. That will be reflected in your Online name.
What kind of performance do you get with that?Nothing seems to get rid of jaggies in this game properly except downsampling from a very high res.
I downsample from 3325x1871 to 1080p with FXAA and it's pretty much jaggy free. Even power lines in the very far distance look perfect.
