It's been a while since I built a PC (5 years) and a lot has changed. I had originally planned to just up grade my old system, but decided that I wanted to start again.

I use my PC mainly for work nowadays, but decided to build something that looked nice visually and woul allow me to play all of the latest games without problems.

Her is my effort:

I'd say it was very easy, once you get started. I didn't find it time consuming, I sat doing them in front of the tv and whilst waiting for parts. A PCIE cable would take me about 20-30 mins to do.

Why not move over the monitor a bit:L
Seriously nice case though

The monitor stand is mounted through a cable hole in the desk as there is no other way to do it.

If I cant find a decent desk that matches all my other desks in the room, I plan on sitting it on some wall brackets that I can get powder coated white to blend in.

The case is 225mm wide so should be a nice comfortable fit, there are 3 cooling radiator fans in the base with a removable filter. So using the brackets will allow loads of air to be sucked in and allow easy access to the filter for cleaning, without having to maul the PC around as it weighs a fair bit.

BTW - The graphics MSI card back plates have been wrapped in white vinyl with a vinyl dragon sticker on top, just in case I get bored and change my colour scheme.

I used the EVGA sli bridge because it was easy to take apart to paint. The EVGA is lit up green using a piece of green tinted acrylic.

I had originally intended to run with just a single 980ti, but thought sod it go the whole hog.

I like it... but it scares me having that dangling off the desk, at least it's close enough to the wall that it will tilt rather than fall.
