Does anyone have any news on when we'll see some more of these released?

I've been looking at the Acer but it appears to be the only one available at the mo. I've found some articles saying LG and Samsung are planning to release some but these were from about a year ago!

I'm getting the ultra wide itch but I can't go back from free sync or 1440!

CES is a few days away, I'd recommend sitting tight. ;)

Thanks I'll keep an eye on that. Is the stuff being shown generally released quite soon after or is it a prototype/this will be released at some point in the future type thing?

Some of the stuff that is first shown off at CES is released in the summer, sometimes later. Some things are released during Q1 or early Q2, it really depends. :)

Hope we see some cheaper G-Sync ultrawide options?

Is down to Nvidia imho.

If their next cards have DP 1.3, then they only have to activate on the drivers the adaptive sync, since the hardware going to be there to support it.
However they are holding to ransom those who buy their cards, doubt it they want to lose the lucrative gsync tax.

Thanks, I may be able to hold on that long, but if there's a price drop on the Acer one then maybe not! :D
