Steam Winter Sale 2015

This is the second sale now where I haven't bought a thing. Actually made a little bit of money selling those trading cards.
 
How long have you got to return a game?
Bought subnautica on the mobile app the other day but not had chance to install it yet... Am I going to be stuck with it if I don't like it?
 
Bought Soma, Life is Strange, The Evil Within DLC, Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone, This War of Mine so far....has anyone played The Park? what's it like? looks like an interesting horror game.

Hrmmm it's very good game, addictive, good graphics but atm not sure it's worth £30. in the first game I tried I exhausted the tech/build options very quickly. needs more depth to that. It's a bit like company of heroes where you rush to the control points as fast as possible and that gets you resources. I haven't tried it in multilayer yet though.
 
@Surfer. layed it, loved it, buy it!

Really good survivial game that is even liked on /v/.. so that's saying something haha.

If you had headphones it really does make it more immersive than it is.

I played it quite a while back when it was first released on early access. I'm sure it has gotten better since then, as there was little to do.

It is a beautiful game.

I'd be interested to know why you guys don't like it. Not saying everyone should like it but IMO its great.

For me it's far too slow, boring and the graphics are awful. Graphics ain't everything in a game but they are important to me in FPS games. I hate cs also though to be fair, I think the whole series are garbage.
Battlefield 4 now that's the kind of FPS game I love.

Have to agree, Insurgency is too slow and extremely boring. The community are full of childish admins in the servers who take the game too seriously in my experience and graphically it's crap.

Yeah I did notice that David, the first server I went in the Admin was having a go at someone for missing a shot. Reminded me of kiddy cod admins, but yeah if everyone enjoyed the same games things would be dull. Each to their own I say, too slow for me that game.
 
The discounts on Steam are definitely getting worse each year. I suppose they don't bother now that they have such a huge user base.
 
Bought so far:

Cities Skylines, which was returned
Ori and the Blind Forest (may return)
Dishonored GOTY (cheaper than buying DLC)
Mass Effect 2

Still have my eyes on a few more things, perhaps Shadow of Mordor or Witcher III
