Hey all

Had a few teething problems since i got my new dell g sync monitor. Ive now got dying light running at 70-72c on my 980ti, is this a respectable temp????

Yes, that's what my MSI is running at. Have you enabled g-sync?

Yeah G sync is all running, loving the monitor. Was just wondering about the heat the card was kicking out running the thing that's all lol.

72c is totally normal mate. I would only worry when it gets to 90c

In the GTX 480 era this would be the same conversation but with additional 20ºC, cards run so cool nowadays.

My brothers maxes on ultra around 63c (1440p) but his is brand new.

Depends on how you usage is set up. I play iracing which does not even touch the sides of the GPU running in the 60"s. When I play BF4 for example to card runs flat out over a long period of a couple of hours straight sometimes and it hovers 73-75 in a warm room around 30 degree"s. I would say if that's the temps of your card flat out, then that is good.
