It's been a few years since I last been, got the restaurant sorted for sat. But got Friday in London on my own and looking for the more casual, fast foody but delicious places. Like the rib man, burgers, BBQ, street food or anything similar.

Starting off Paddington, going to natural history museum and ending up at some point at Olympia. So anything around or in between them would be great, however with underground, most places are easy to get to.

I can recommend Hobbs.

Great suggestion, however it's one of the few places I've explored thoroughly. Probably not a food stall that I haven't eaten at.

Oh man, now there I haven't been and does look very good. The choice though the choice. Spotted Brazilian Churrasco and Hola Guacamole instantly. Without even looking at the other places.

Edit - ha even a primal stall, which is essentially what I try and eat day to day. Although not strictly Palo/primal. But same general principals.

I went there about 2 years ago when I went to London Zoo. I had a philly cheesesteak from the Philly Boyz whilst sitting by the lock in the sunshine with a cold beer.

Twas a good day.

Man, I think I could eat a week there, and not try everything. Well that's first stop for lunch, then head down to NHM.

Any other amazing suggestions for dinner.

Loads of places around Soho that have opened this year (Bao, Shotgun bbq, Blacklock to name a few). If it's this Friday then sadly Dinerama in Shoreditch isn't open until the following week as that's a brilliant place to go. I'd double check those camden lock traders are about though as a lot of places are shut this week

Can confirm Camden lock is lovely. Used to go there every other sunday for a mildly hungover walk and lunch with the mrs. Can't believe I had been here for around 2 years before going round the back where all the actual good food is, and had been eating the crappy other stuff.

I have found good food at any of the markets I have been to over the years. Iirc Spitalfields was quite nice, although there was an actual food event when I last went there, but I am pretty sure that the german, japanese, chinese etc food stalls not in the main part are there every time.

Not sure how far it is on the tube from where you will be but Flat Iron is one of my favourite places to go. You can't make reservations, you just turn up and wait. The steak is amazing.

Dineramas worth a shout.
Street feast is ok but if I'm honest it's a bit posey and the foods fairly average but Smokestak may sort your needs.
Whitecross market is quite fun but there hasn't been an amazing vendor there in ages now.
There's a food market on the south bank behind the south bank centre which you may wish to check out (it's easy to go somewhere else after if there's nothing you want)
Patty and Bun, dirty burger, chicken shop, bleeker St all should suffice.

DO NOT go to Pitt cue. I went three weeks ago having not been for a couple of years still thinking it was amazing. The food is super salty and really average. You seem OP like you care about your food and I think you'd feel like you'd wasted a meal in London by eating there. I can write at length about them if needs be, but they're really disappointing and nowhere near as good as they were.
