power supply required

Hey all

Looks as if my current unit has died there was a crackle when i connected the power cable into the unit and now the PC will not power up. This is the same day my new 390 arrived

The Supernova G2 750W looks a good bet unless you think I can get away with less than 750. Silly question but it will fit in my Carbide 500R ok I am assuming.

Any help appreciated

It would help if you told us what it has to power but as a general rule, a quality 550w psu is more than enough for most single gpu systems.

EVGA 750w G2 is a good quality unit! Fitted one of these in my new X99 R390 build a few weeks ago. Haven't heard the fan at all.
