The 9/11 memorial and museum
Manhattan Skyline
Greenwich Village..
chinatown

We might be going in Summer so I'm also interested, although it's been about 25 years since I went last :p

Did you not get out to the Statue of Liberty?

NYC has the biggest IMAX screen I've ever seen, and if there's anything good on, it's worth a look!

Didn't see the Empire state building on there, good call! Don't be tempted your second time around, its awful.

Might be worth going out of Manhattan for a day. Go for a walk around Williamsburg, get something to eat and admire Manhattan from the promenades.

Do the Statue, don't bother with ellis island (just stay on the boat) that is a snooze fest.

Visit the MOMA

Eat loads of Dollar pizza.

The World Trade center observation deck is open now. Not been yet but might be crap.

Get lost in china town.

Eat at Katz's Delicatessen

Subway across to Brooklyn, walk to promenade at Brooklyn Heights, sit and take in the awesome view of Manhattan, then walk back across Brooklyn Bridge.

this is a defo for us this time, we had our eldest boy 9 year old last time and couldn't find anything he wanted to watch.

I saw Wicked in August, wasn't really thinking it would be my kind of thing beforehand, but left thinking it was very good and worth the money.

I'd recommend the Metropolitan Museum of Art as well, loads of different exhibits from different eras to see.

I went to Williamsburg and had some great BBQ food at a place called Fette Sau, you buy the meat by the weight, think I had half a pound of brisket and half a pound of ribs, some of the best BBQ food I've ever had.

I did a nigh time bus tour of Manhattan/Brooklyn and a twilight cruise around Manhattan, which I'd recommend.

It's a bit underwhelming compared to top of the rock, but that might be mainly because it's all indoors, and there's no way to get outside.

When I was there we didn't do half the things we wanted as you just can't fit it all in a week!

We did see Sister Act on Broadway and that was amazing so I highly recommend that!

If you've already done it get the train to Washington DC or Boston and see those instead. Why go to the same place again when there is so much more to see?

It's a really interesting city and is very easy to get to from NYC. The US's only high speed rail route runs from Washington DC to Boston via New York.
