North Korea has just tested their first hydrogen bomb

Nuclear test or not, i do like it NK gets in the headlines as there top brass have the best military hats in the world.
 
It's that time of the month again...

DPRK (Best Korea) say they have successfully tested a nuclear bomb causing a 5.3 magnitude earthquake.

Is anything actually being done about this? People take the **** out of him, but odds are he will soon get the missile tech done along with the bomb. Starving him out isn't working so surely it's time to try harder?
 
I really don't know why the international community don't nip this in the bud before it gets out of hand.

he's not even close to getting a small (in size) bomb let alone a decent missile.

hell likely die of natural reasons/internal killing before that happens.


as it stands NK is happy to sit behind the most fortified border on earth and for it getting "out of hand" we've killed more foreign civilians this month than he and his father did in their whole reigns.


perhaps its us and our constant invading and bombing of other nations that needs nipping in the bud.

Syria,
Libya,
Pakistan,


just a few of the countries we have aggressively attacked in the last decade.


but its NK which hasn't invaded anyone the world should worry about?

I don't know what technology or methods they could deploy, but it's a big gamble to hope he isn't ready. Too me is busy not worth the risk

its not really a gamble we regularly watch his tests fail spectacularly.



we do however know there is one of the largest artillery forces around pointed up on Seoul and would level the city within minutes of your attack starting.


put it this way, lets pretend France was NK, isolationist and a bit nutty, now all along the channel they built huge artillery emplacements and lots of mobile artillery that could hit London with thousands of shells, and the entire channel was a massive mine field and kill zone.


how happy or willing would you be for say Germany to go "you know what we;re sick of this France we're going to invade".


why is it not ok for his country to be isolationist, but absolutely fine for our country to regularly invade countries?

I know about the artillery, and I don't know how I could live in Seoul myself simply due to someone who unstable.
I don't know, something should have been done a long time ago.
I know the west is worse, but selfishly it doesn't affect me.

One thing is for sure. There is no easy answer

but he is actually pretty damn stable.

hes never randomly invaded anyone.

few pot shots same as the south do but thats it.
