I don't like the idea of salt mixed with sweet stuff. Had some salted caramel icecream the other day and it was horrible, would have been great without the salt.

Love liquorish though. Always used to get free sweets at school as everyone hated the liquorish sweets in Lions sports mix. Now they are not even liquorish :eek:

Someones been to finland. I love the vanhan ajan laku and panda. Brought some back last time I went. But sirkus aakkoset is better than the ones you got.

I bought a bag of Scandinavian haribo a few months back. It contained some salt liquorice, weak stuff. If never had it before. It still tasted sweet and I loved it. Kind of cleared the airways, a hint of ammonia.

Off I went to eBay, bought some proper salmiakki (thinking it'd be even better), ate one piece and hated it. Tried poisoning colleagues with it until one came along who loved the stuff and ate it all.

Also, frequent liquorice consumption can cause high blood pressure, so I tend not to buy the stuff as often as I used to. I imagine it's worse with the salted stuff.
