Hey

I am seeing issues with my R9 200 and I think it started after updating drivers a dee months back but when the PC comes out of sleep mode my desktop starts flickering and glitching. A reboot fixes it. Gaming seems fine and not getting any crashes or BSODs. Upgraded to WIN10 today and no difference with 15.30 driver package and cats 15.8

Any suggestions ?
Tks

Hey

Weird I did run the radeon-crimson-15.12-win10-64bit.exe installer and it says driver 15.300.1025.1001 is installed which is latest driver. So it looks like those are correct ?

The card is MSI Radeon R9 290X Gaming Edition 8192MB

Driver package version is 15.30.1025.1001-151204a-296874C

But thats irrelevant. When you hit overview it says 15.12 :)

Hmm I dont see an overview option , i seem to be seeing the old CAT GUI not the new GUI - is the new one called AMD Cat Software Suit (Beta) ?

I have a similar issue, when I wake my PC from sleep I get a sort of screen tearing effect. My PC is connected to 4K TV using DisplayPort, if I change the input on to TV to HDMI then back to DP it resolves it.

Only started happening with Crimson drivers.

Hmmm yeah pretty sure mine started after installing Crimson drivers too . Plus I am not getting the new Cat control panel in Win10 and I was in Win7 . Might just do a complete uninstall and reinstall again and see if it helps .

Ok so just an update on this. I changed my output on second monitor from DP to DVI cable/output and it looks like the issue has stopped - at least for the past 2 days . Will update back to the 15.12 and see if it stays stable but has anyone seen an issue like this before ? Dodgy cable perhaps? Why would it effect both monitors (one monitor using DP and one using DVI) ?
