***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

Finished mine yesterday (bought it at Brick last month/year)! Lovely build, great detail and looks good with the Mini (which I also have) even thought they're not the same scale!

I've got the F40 on order (had £15 of VIP and a £10 voucher for my birthday) so I'll line them all up once it's here and built!! :D

Awesome! Look forward to seeing it with the others. I'm sure I'll pick it up eventually... but I need to cool down a bit, this month has been expensive heh :p

Edit: Looks like some more info on the new Star Wars sets are showing up, doubt some of the details are definitive however... probably placeholders or something, but still! Interesting :)

They are great, and are a welcome splash of colour in an otherwise grey dominated Star Wars theme.

That's what I like about the CW designs. Like the venator which is an early star destroyer, they added colour to it, to change it from a grey slab of cheese.

Not to keen on those new kits but I will wait until I can see the minifigs, especially the clone tank. Aayla Secura came with the last clone turbo tank, shame she isn't again by the looks of it. She goes for stupid money as she's only in that set.

Liking the resistance X-Wing as I prefer those colours, it just seems like an even further dumbed down recolour of Poe's X-Wing though, slightly less pieces.

Skeeter's Pod racers look great, never seen that set before, interesting use of clear technic bricks.

These things are surprisingly massive! I'm not massively happy that the stands are an integrated part of the model, but there isn't really any other way to do it.

*snip*

Saw these at Brick last month!

They were HUGE!!!

If they ever did UCS Pods, I'd vote for these ones!!

I'm fortunate enough to have a bedroom that's surplus to requirements so my Lego gets displayed in there.

Bad pics but you get the idea. More shelving on the way

Think you have the largest collection of LEGO in this thread, care to make another showage of it all, you did mention you needed more shelf's for your Falcon and you probably have more sets since then as well. ;) :p

On another note, did you finish the AT-AT yet ? I see it's one the floor in the above picture but not fully assembled ?

My Red Five arrived this morning from the States, getting the wife to see that this is a hobby and the expense involved was quite easy. Getting her to agree where they all go once built is another!!!

Seller included a free mini fig Stormtrooper in original poly bag 30274?

A couple of things I've notice from that photo.

1 - the Lego modular buildings are impressive, the street is just awesome, coherent and well designed.

2 - how big the Tie Fighter is, it's not dwarfed by the Falcon at all.

3 - R2D2 is not as big as I thought.

I have one more model to build and a bit of reorganisation and tidying then I'll do some pics.

AT-AT is still in pieces but I'm hoping to rectify that soon

I did think about getting a picture of our stuff, probably over 100 sets now. I looked at it all thought about the origination required and got tired :D

I am trying to get my son to smash his models up (particularly the smaller stuff and battle packs) and put them all in one box and be one of those kids that just builds his own stuff or rebuilds but for the life of me I'm having no success.

I finished all the ones I bought a few weeks back. I can easily see myself getting carried away with technic sets, but I think I will buy 1 more!!

I haven't built the Falcon yet (saving that for a few weeks time). Still need to attach the tracks to the bulldozer, but after that I might buy the Mercedes Truck.

I really want some more Lego sets, after (sadly :( ) getting Anakins Ship for Christmas (why is this even a set).

But the Mercedes-Benz Arocs seems more appealing, it looks so much more fun to build. I also have nearly the amount worth of vouchers too....

Annoyingly it's £30 cheaper on the .de site but I'm sure I can't use the vouchers there...

Why does Lego Technic appear to be more cheaper than normal Lego?

Mercedes Benz truck is about £170, whilst the Marvel Hellicarier for example is £280!?

In the same boat as you :( Amazon credit on my Spain account, discount is in german site. Waiting for price to drop on Amazon Spain, but knowing my luck it will go out of stock and then i'll have nothing!

Yeah, I mean it obviously makes more financial sense to buy from the German site. But I probably wouldn't buy it without having vouchers...

I doubt it'll move from £160 on amazon UK
