EVGA 980ti Classified & EVGA 980ti 06G-P4-4995-KR - 6GB

From the physically point of view yes, the 4995 is a Ref size PCB while the Classified is EVGAs PCB Design, this is much bigger then the normal one and do not fit every case. The reason why this is bigger is because of the superior power management used on it. By software you can upper the voltage on the Classie card up to 1.3V while 4995 only allows regular increase. Let me know if you have any further question about this.

Your Kingpins are very hard to get in a Corsair 900D as there is hardly any room to do up the screws.

Fortunately it is easier to fit the Kingpins in my other cases like the 800D and the LDV8.

here is my 980ti next to my old 980, Given that the 980 is the same size as a reference 980ti you can see the size difference.

The classifieds have always been a lot larger than the even the standard model I bet the 980 classified would may a refrence 980ti look small

I would not say you can get "that much" more. From a temp point of view of course its going to be better but most 980TI's all go to 1500-1550 mhz any way so dont expect any better than that without messing about with cooling and bios mods.
