Help me decide: Moto X Style/One Plus Two/LG G4

LG G4 isn't bad, especially when you may be able to buy it on pay as you go from Vodafone for £225, i bought one yesterday, not bad at all for the money :)

I went for that deal as well, liked the red leather back. I just hate on screen buttons, it wastes space and when hidden having to swipe up all the time drove me mad. Reason why I go Samsung as I prefer to have off screen and properly use all the screen available.

The G4 is a great phone though no denying it.

Decided finally to go back to my phone I had before one plus one.
None of the new phones fit
Either missing a key feature or just cost too damn much when I don't need anything powerful.
Maybe something decent will come out in next few months.
Unfortunately there are one or two premium features I want, as well as battery life, and build.
Seeing as I plan to keep my next phone years, I want it to be right

Leave your personal issues with companies at the door before jumping into threads please, I enjoyed the OnePlus One, it was a great phone back in 2014 and was still being updated and supported when I sold it.

Ummm kind of the point of these threads is so that you get opinions from people who have actually lived with the phones rather than just from shiny review pieces

Had my X Style since it came out and have had zero problems. Battery life is about 2 days after v6 and unlike my other Android phones doesn't have 'moments'. Chuck a 128gb card in it and away you go. V6 is pretty rubbish as you can longer install every app on the SD card (developer has to mark it as it can be moved which most of them haven't) and the bloody wifi gong goes off every time you pass one. I travel by tube and it's now nearly constant on my commute. Supposedly they are going to fix this as it only affects vanilla v6 phones like the Style.

At this stage I'm set on the LG G4. Just can't stop hearing good things about it!
Just need to get myself on the Vodafone deal which seems to go out of stock as soon as they come in.

Another option is to get the Xiaomi Redmi 3 and have a play about with that until This years flagships land.

Unless you go down the adaptive storage route in which case a lot of apps can be forced onto the card. Not that I recommend it after having tried it.

Is that to do with wifi scanning as I think you can turn it off .... 'location' ~ 'scanning' from the 3 dot menu.

The WiFi scanning has an option to turn off notifications "notify when a public network is available" but they have broken it. Loads of stuff on web about it. Hopefully a patch will fix.

The rear-facing speaker is the only real let down. It's not even directing sound out of the bottom of the phone, it's pointing away from you, annoying everyone else. :p

It's a shame as the V10 has a bottom/side speaker and it's something which has got to be sorted on the G5. I think the G4 is the only flagship from a major manufacturer which has a rear-facing speaker now.

Other than that it's a top phone, so if that's not a worry hit the button.

Already did!

Rarely play music through my phone speakers anyway so it doesn't bother me as much as most people.

It's either being played through bluetooth earphones or my music is played form my PC>Speakers.

Where do you guys get back covers, quite fancy something different from the titanium one.

Ah, ok. I was getting mixed up with the wifi hammering the battery when it's not even switched on. If you turn off wifi scanning in location then that sorts it.... mostly!

I haven't had problems with the Network Notification using Moto x play on Marshmallow. Doesn't notify me if wifi is turned off.
