CrossFire MSI 390X's who is running them on the new drivers

It sounds like the problem is just with card one.

I'd just carry on using card two whilst you return one for a replacement and only test further if you get issues.

I am going to repeat the same testing with card one just to make sure as I work a few mile away from OCUK so ill be dropping it off anyway.

So after over 5 hours testing yesterday on the good card i did still manage to crash my system .... and this is where it got interesting the ONLY game that crashes is EVE as i run three accounts at the same time and only seems to crash when i run 3 clients with an Eyefinity configuration turned on .... turn off Eyefinity and it does not crash ......

I am still going to test my other card as it did fail the OCCT tests so i may also have a card issue as well.

3 the extream issues are the system either goes complete white screen or conplete black screen and windows or the game are still running as i can here it but i have to power off to get things going again

I had a recent black screen issue like this that would happen even if I was just looking at webpage. It turned out that MSI Afterburner was the cause. I had set VRAM clock higher than stock which would work fine in games but when the gpu is fluctuating clocks I think some bug fails to increase the voltage quick enough in line with the memory clock speeds hence the crash/black screen.

If you crashes are happening at stock then most likely a faulty gpu.

Just wanted to update this topic ... I carried out loads of testing on both cards and had no crashes at all in the benchmarks both cards were within 1 fps of each other in the testing and within a deg of each other with temps.

I had one set of errors reported in OCCT for one of the cards ( 9 errors ) and this has only happened once so im very happy that both my cards are fine.

However I think I do need to upgrade my PSU as the power testing I have done puts me very very close to the limit of my PSU when testing in CF mode so I will do that in the next few weeks so I have gone back to a single card for now as I do not want to put to much load on my system.

Looking at the only crashing I am having ( In EVE ) this seems to be happening to a number of players atm and it is unclear if this is a driver clash or something to do with one of the recent updates to the game in November/December which is a shame really as EVE is my go to game ...

Msi afterburner and crimson don't work together that is your problem I had the same changed to Asus Trix and mine worked fine common issue. Your power supply is fine just uninstall afterburner

Hi Farooq, I forgot to say I also REMOVED MSI Afterburner from my system completely until they update it I am just using the software that came with the card atm but I will have a go with TRIXX.
