I struggle with jeans. These are less than a year old
I hate anything skin tight on my legs - ugh. Okay I don't like MC Hammer style trousers either, but something that fits would be nice!
I'll try the 541s, problem is I don't want to spend a fortune as I know they'll die in under a year and frankly I've got better things to spend my money on!
I suffer from having huge thighs and a small waist and as such most high street jeans that fit my waist (28") I can't actually get into .
FWIW I tend to buy my Jeans from Tesco! 30" or 32" waist, turn them up and wear a belt .
The only pair of "nice" jeans I've ever found that fit me are a pair of French Connection jeans with a 30" waist and for some reason much wider thighs than any others. I've even gone back to the exact same shop, tried the same jean model, and I can't get into them, so I don't know if they were a "duff" pair, but I'll be very sad when they finally wear out!
i know this is of no help but i had the same problem with jeans and switched to "Helikon SFU NEXT Trousers Polycotton Ripstop Black" and never looked back, i wear them 5 days a week for the last 3 years and showing no sign of wear yet and they are super comfy, if you are wearing jeans for working in try these out instead
I just tried Next's loose fit in my waist size and whilst they do fit, they end up looking skinny as opposed to loose and on large thighs, it tends to look a little silly. You could easily get away with going a waist size up, though.
I'm going to try some of Levi's athletic fit next and see how I get on.
